Damiano Melcarne is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 7 years of experience in the field. Currently, he is the Co-Founder of Waiders, an e-commerce apparel company that provides innovative and customizable apparel. He played a key role in the strategy and design of the products and the development and maintenance of the E-commerce store. In 2015, Waiders' trademark, product rights, and product stock were acquired by Route-One Apparel. Previously, Damiano worked as a Software Engineer at Incentive Technology Group, LLC, where he was part of the greenfield product team that delivered an MVP for a real-time energy cost monitoring platform. He was responsible for mobile UX design iterations, usability research findings, and MEAN stack development. He also architected and developed the eventing engine that provides real-time actionable alerts about a user's energy consumption.
