Dan Turchenko is a highly skilled QA Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the field. He is currently working remotely for X-Team, an international team working on an exciting web project. Dan is responsible for developing automated software tests and test frameworks for Selenium WebDriver in C#, Java, and JavaScript. Prior to joining X-Team, Dan worked for Software Technology Group as a QA Automation Engineer. Here, he was contracted to help build a new test automation suite for a client company in Lehi producing an enterprise web application in Java. He also worked for Xactware as a QA Analyst where he was responsible for manual and automated QA of web and desktop applications. Dan worked with high-level selenium frameworks in C#, and participated in the software development cycle from design to testing. He also worked in Jira to follow story/epic/defect tracking and ownership, and Zephyr to handle test cases and test plans. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film: Entertainment Arts and Engineering from the University of Utah. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in a range of technologies including QA, test, Web, Java, Selenium, Javascript, SDET, and Software Engineering.
