Daniel Gopinath C is an Aspirational Human, Open Innovation expert, and Startup Enabler with over 11 years of experience in corporate innovation models. He started his career as a recruiter after completing his BA in English Literature and MBA in Human Resource and Marketing from Anna University. He has worked with leading innovative companies including CGI, Adobe, Lowe’s Innovation Labs, and Ernst and Young for their Product, Innovation, and Consulting wings. Currently, Daniel is associated with Societe Generale GSC as a Program Project Manager for Open Innovation and Startup Programs. He is responsible for handling programs in Open Innovation - Catalyst, a flagship corporate growth accelerator program with startups and ISC, an Internal Startup Call program to create startups from employees. He also acts as a weekend entrepreneur on a gig platform and explores startup ideas as a habit and interacts with like-minded startups/enthusiasts. As an Innovation catalyst, Daniel helps to solve complex business/Industry problems through an open innovation approach and startup programs. He is responsible for various open innovation programs including Catalyst - Corporate Growth Accelerator and Internal Startup Call - Enable the creation of startups inside out organization and various other programs to scale innovation. In the past, Daniel has worked with gigfws - b2b2c gig marketplace, where he served as an Enabler and Advisor. He has also worked with EY as a Senior Advisory Consultant - Innovation & Strategy @Wavespace. He was the first team member of EY Wavespace India and helped clients in the waves of Technological Disruption, Digital Innovation, and Business Transformation to transform smoothly and creatively to find continuous new growth opportunities and reduce risks. He also worked on a special project with MoMSME India, in setting up cluster-specific, relevant Innov hubs (from design to delivery) in its 18 new technology clusters across India as part of the World Bank project. Daniel's education history includes an MBA in Human Resource and Marketing from Anna University and a BA in English Literature from Thiruvalluar University. With over 11.60 years of relevant experience, he is a versatile professional with a passion for innovation and startup culture.
