Daniel Agyapong is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over four years of experience in writing professional cross-platform apps. He is well-versed in numerous programming languages and frameworks and possesses exceptional problem-solving skills. Daniel is passionate about developing, implementing and testing web and mobile solutions and has the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Currently, Daniel works as a Graduate Research Assistant at Northern Arizona University, where he is responsible for developing new statistical models, optimization algorithms, interactive systems, and software for machine learning. He is a Research Scientist and has relevant experience of 1.36 years in the field. In the past, Daniel has worked as a Software Engineer for Google Summer of Code and was responsible for modifying the tool, Rperform, to track quantitative metrics for R packages across different versions and git branches. He has also worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Kwame Nkrumah'​ University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, where he participated in a research project with a Security Researcher/Lecturer to study some security flaws in a mobile app and a website. He used Python, MITMProxy, and BurpeSuite to reverse engineer apps to improve security. Daniel also trained and tutored undergraduate students to be proficient in MATLAB programming and initiated enhanced teaching and learning activities with the aid of the e-learning platform (KNUST Virtual Classroom). He mentored and supervised students in Digital Systems, Classical Control Systems, Digital Control Systems, and Instrumentation courses and lectured and assisted students in their undergraduate thesis. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah'​ University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northern Arizona University.
