Daniel Barenboim is a Senior Software Engineer with over 7 years of relevant experience. He is a true renaissance man, always hungry for knowledge and seeking the thrill of discovering new and exciting things. Daniel believes that true success comes from giving 200% on the projects he works on, keeping an eye on all the small details within the design and creating something that makes sense for both the users and clients. Currently, Daniel is working at Novo Tech Software, where he is overseeing a multitude of projects focused primarily on the healthcare industry. He collaborates closely with System Architects, Product Owners, and design teams while utilizing Scrum and Jira as a means of project management. Daniel is responsible for developing full-scale React Native mobile apps from start to finish, complete with accessibility options, i18n translations, restful services, push notifications, and more. He emphasizes data security and adherence to healthcare data protocols. Previously, Daniel worked at Apollo Dae Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer, where he was responsible for building a full-spectrum cryptocurrency exchange platform using React, TypeScript, and Redux for state management, Amazon cloud services, and Auth0 for authorization. He composed code with Solidity to create smart contract functionality and the tokenization procedure, which became the foundation for the Apollo token. Daniel also designed the trading experience with oversight from the Chief Technical Officer to ensure that all necessary technical indicators and tools are readily available. Before that, Daniel worked at Lioncoded as a Full Stack Developer, designing responsive websites from the bottom up, utilizing frontend libraries Bootstrap and CSS Flexbox as well as backend technologies like Node.js and the Webpack module bundler. He flawlessly integrated third-party APIs as well as the latest animations from libraries such as Greensock and ScrollMagic. Daniel also saved clients time and stress by delivering domain hosting and configured email servers on AWS, GoDaddy, and Heroku. Daniel holds an Associate’s Degree in Biology from Miami Dade College and has also completed a course in software engineering at Ironhack. He graduated from South Broward High School in 2010.
