Daniel Fukuba is a seasoned technologist with over 12 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is currently the Co-founder and CTO of Ono Food Co., a company that is revolutionizing the way we eat by building robotic systems to create and serve delicious meals with high-quality ingredients at an affordable price. Daniel's expertise in engineering and automation has been instrumental in the success of the company, which is backed by top investors such as Lemnos, Compound, Marado, and Pathbreaker Ventures. Prior to co-founding Ono Food Co., Daniel worked as an Engineering Manager at l2f Inc., an industrial automation firm that was later acquired by Middleby (NASDAQ: MIDD). In this role, he led a multi-disciplinary automation team with 7 direct reports and managed the design and testing of precision robotic assembly systems for the SpaceX Merlin 1D rocket engine. He also oversaw the development and installation of 3 automated chocolate inspection and packaging lines for Blommer Chocolate and designed a vision-guided air flow inspection system for Applied Material's PVD shower heads. Daniel is also a Co-founder and CPO of Campus Coliving, a startup focused on creating shared living environments to promote meaningful relationships between members. The company is backed by top investors such as Founders Fund, Formation 8, and StartX, and has launched 38 community houses in SF and 4 in NYC. Daniel envisioned and led the execution of the product roadmap and managed operations, design, and software engineering. Daniel's technical skills include Senior Software Engineering and testing, and he is well-versed in a variety of tech stacks.
