Daniel García is a highly skilled and experienced engineer with over 8 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is currently serving as the Founding Engineer at Glimpse, a platform that connects brands with short-term rental properties for product placement opportunities. The company is backed by Y Combinator, and Daniel is working directly with the founders to define the product and engineering roadmap. He is responsible for designing and implementing automated data scrapers to enhance the properties database, building multiple MVPs from scratch, and moving the existing airtable database to a more scalable database using Postgres. In the past, Daniel has worked as a Frontend Engineer at AspireIQ, which is the first community intelligence marketing company that puts people, rather than transactions, at the forefront of marketing. He has also served as a Full Stack Engineer at Gordian Software, where he led front-end development to create the best flight seat map component in the industry used by thousands of users in many travel agency's websites, using React and Redux. He has also created automated web and data scraping systems for Gordian’s API serving over 60 airlines and hundreds of booking platforms. Daniel holds a degree in Ingeniería En Ciencias Computacionales from Universidad de Guadalajara, where he graduated in 2015. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in Frontend, Postgres, Redux, and Web technologies. In addition to his professional work, Daniel is also a co-host of the El Truco Podcast.
