Daniel Pei is a Data Analyst Trainee at DBS Bank, where he communicates with bankers and stakeholders to understand their business needs and find data solutions that are fit for purpose. He fulfills data requests to aid bankers in identifying new business leads and understanding the needs of customers using Pandas and PySpark. He also performs data validation for new model development to ensure that model results are useful and of high data quality. Daniel supports the data team in project management for model development to ensure that key milestones are being met within projected timeframes. Previously, Daniel was a CRM Intern at Circles.Life, where he conceptualized and executed CRM campaigns from end-to-end via eDM, push, and in-app channels using the Clevertap CRM platform. He was in charge of planning, copywriting, HTML coding, A/B testing, and customer segmentation of CRM campaigns. He improved click-through rates for eDM by 80% and open rates for push notifications by 60% in a period of less than three months. He was also responsible for curating and sharing interesting events listings on the Circles.Life app, assisting with partnerships marketing, and liaising with vendor companies to come onboard with Discover's new food and workshops categories. He was responsible for writing official press releases and getting press coverage for Discover original events and new Discover categories. Daniel was also a Performance Marketing Intern (CRM) at Iris Concise, where he was responsible for the execution and management of CRM marketing campaigns (email and push notifications) for Samsung and Abbott, across seven markets in the Asia-Pacific region. He was involved in the creation of segmentation models with a database of 60M+ contacts on SAP Hybris (CRM platform). He assisted with the creation of weekly campaign performance dashboards for clients and in data analysis and data-driven insights creation for Guinness and Sydney Rum Distillery. Daniel was the Iris Concise Employee of the Month for August. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Business Analytics from Nanyang Technological University.
