Daniel Schonfeld is a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Veeva Systems with over 9 years of relevant experience in test automation, SDET, and QA. He possesses strong Java OOP programming skills and has extensive experience with automating tests for native and hybrid mobile applications, web applications, and APIs. Daniel has developed mobile framework development experience with Appium, TestNG, Gradle, ThreadLocal, and RestAssured for data set up via API. He is proficient in configuring Appium for both Android & iOS (real device, emulator/simulator, BrowserStack), as well as developing automation for all platforms. Additionally, he has web framework development experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUNit, Maven, and RestAssured for data set up via API. At J2 Global, he developed automation frameworks and automated functional end to end regression test cases for multiple web applications using Selenium WebDriver, TestNg, Maven, Jenkins, and the Page Object design pattern. Daniel holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Florida. His tech stack includes test, SDET, QA, Mobile, Web, CI/CD, Jenkins, iOS, Integration, Android, Selenium, and UI. He has architected the framework using SOLID OOP principles and with parallelization in mind, leveraging multi-threading and ensuring tests are thread-safe by avoiding the use of static variables and methods and ensuring methods that handle I/O are synchronized.
