Darshan Shah is a highly skilled software engineer with over 3 years of experience in building large-scale systems. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine, and has mentored more than 20 students during his grad life. Currently, he is working as a Software Developer at VMware, where he is responsible for developing software solutions using Java, Python, C++, SQL, Angular, React, HTML, JavaScript, Agile, AWS, and Linux. Darshan has a strong background in software development and has worked with various companies, including Barclays. During his tenure at Barclays, he served as a Summer Technology Analyst and Software Developer, where he developed an analytics platform using Python, Impala, Netezze to evaluate optimum trading decisions. He also automated more than 20 trading flows using Java, KDB & Order Management System. At Barclays, Darshan developed a system used by investment bankers across 12+ countries to onboard new clients, track client interactions & opportunities using core Java, Angular JS, MS SQL, and so on. He also integrated a chatbot to the system to ease the onboarding process of the clients. He developed a plugin that runs along with Microsoft Outlook to perform smart actions like linking contacts, searching contacts, creating meetings using Angular framework (Angular 6) & Salesforce frameworks. He created a library of Angular UI components that increased the speed of development by 100%. Darshan also developed an entire application (web & mobile-based) for bankers to track revenues from top 100 clients & loan portfolios using Salesforce lightning component frameworks – AURA components, Visual force, Apex.
