David Juboor is an Engineer, Data Scientist, and Entrepreneur with over 11 years of experience in the technology-driven business. David's innate curiosity to take things apart has led him to become an expert in conceiving, developing, designing, building, testing, manufacturing, fielding, servicing, and retiring systems based on rigorous work and excellent team communication. David has worn many hats in his professional and academic career, including programmer, writer, researcher, manager, marketer, and strategist, which has given him a unique ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and navigate complex challenges. He is a multi-linguist of technology-driven business, fluent in geek, marketer, editor, designer, trainer, salesperson, and difficult client. Currently, David is the Lead Data Scientist at Disney, where he is making dreams come true by directing a deep learning computer vision team, leading peta-scale cloud applications for PhotoPass, and reducing annual workforce costs by $20MM. Previously, David worked as the Lead Data Scientist at Black Knight, where he led a deep learning team of 8 to increase production performance to 92% and implemented serverless DL cloud architectures in AWS for production inference. He also increased SOTA NLP transformer performance via novel pruning and ensemble methods. David also worked as the Principal Data Scientist at Honda Logistics North America, where he directed the overhaul of legacy logistic and fulfillment systems, led computer vision-based quality control automation initiatives, and performed strategic analyses of production workflows for AI integration. David holds a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University and an Associate's Degree in Biology from Northampton Community College.
