David Polanski is a Co-Founder and Product Lead at BuildStream, a digital quality management platform for engineering and manufacturing companies. With over 12 years of relevant experience, he is responsible for defining objectives and metrics, roadmap planning, UI/UX, and user relations. David has a proven track record of delivering high-scale products to millions of users worldwide, having worked as an International Software Quality Engineer at Apple. His responsibilities included hands-on testing of Apple products (software and hardware) with a focus on natural language processing and AI systems, investigating and scoping out software bugs, and extending linguistic and domain coverage for various test cases. David has also worked as a Product Manager at Unit 8200 - Israeli Intelligence Corps, where he managed the delivery of innovative products in a highly challenging and strategic industry. He helped shift old paradigms and drive change across organizations by creating products that combine modern tech disciplines with a deep understanding of industry goals and challenges. His responsibilities included agile software development framework in a dynamic and highly technological environment, writing test cases from the requirements, specifications, and test strategies, and specifying and documenting product requirements (PRD, User Story, Wireframes, API, etc.). David holds a degree from Y Combinator's S19 Batch and has a diverse tech stack that includes test, UI, NLP, QA, AI, SDET, product manager, SQL, Information Retrieval, ML, MySQL, web, and software engineering. His education and experience have equipped him with the skills and knowledge to lead the product team and the company's product strategy at BuildStream. He has a passion for understanding and analyzing customer needs and translating them into product features that meet and exceed their expectations.
