Dean Friedland is a Lead Software Engineer at Accelirate Inc. with over 12 years of experience in software development. After graduating from law school, he discovered his passion for technology while working for a startup software company in Florida. Dean is a self-taught developer who loves to learn, teach, and create. He has experience in both server-side and client-side development and has a particular interest in command-line GIT. Dean has worked for several companies in the past, including Aaron's Tech and Sterling Talent Solutions, where he held the position of Software Engineer. At Sterling Talent Solutions, he was part of a team that delivered accurate, efficient, and compliant background and drug screening services to over 20,000 organizations worldwide. Dean has experience working with technologies such as C#/.NET, MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, Repository pattern, LINQ, T-SQL, Javascript, Angular 2/4, Knockout, JQuery, CSS (including Bootstrap and Angular Material), and HTML. Dean has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University and a Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University. He is a husband and father of three and enjoys surfing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and helping others reach their goals.
