He is currently working as a Staff member at Qualcomm, where he is responsible for the design, enhancement, and implementation of a dependency analyzing tool for RTL design units. This tool plays a crucial role in the design flow by providing a dependency list to simulation tools. Additionally, he has implemented C++ wrapper APIs over a 3rd party RTL front end parser which are used by the swig interface of Perl and Python. Debabrata's major skill sets include automation in VLSI CAD flow and EDA tool development using C++, Python3, and Perl. He is also proficient in C/C++, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns such as Bridge, Singleton, Factory, Visitor, Strategy, and Memento. At Intel, he served as a Consultant (Principal Engineer at Interra Systems) and was responsible for the design, enhancement, and implementation of a dependency analyzing tool for RTL design units. Debabrata holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from IGNOU, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications from IGNOU, and a Bachelor's degree in Science from the University of Calcutta.
