Debajyoti Mahanta is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with over a decade of experience in distributed systems. He began his career as a backend developer building Java connectors for SAP, before transitioning into a full stack role where he built various systems using Angular, Javascript, C#, and Java as backend. Recently, Debajyoti has been working on multiple cloud platforms to build the next generation of fault-tolerant distributed systems. He is also passionate about working as a tech lead and driving product roadmaps. If required, he is always ready to get his hands dirty and build these systems from scratch. Currently, Debajyoti is a Senior Software Engineer at Google, where he is reducing cloud complexity and administrative toil using data, intelligence, and machine learning. He is also building a real-time channel for ingestion of recommendations and insights to make cloud ops better. Prior to his current role, Debajyoti was a Senior Software Engineer at Amazon. He has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer in the BigQuery team at Google, where he was responsible for integrating the Front end with the query engine and optimizing various levels of the stack to make BigQuery fast and highly efficient. Debajyoti has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology and completed his schooling from Don Bosco High School, Guwahati. He has a diverse tech stack, including expertise in Software Engineering, Backend, Java, ML, Javascript, Data Warehouse, Frontend, AWS, AngularJS, and Web.
