Debayan Karar is a passionate and energetic professional with over 3 years of experience in management consulting, operations, and finance. He is currently working as a Business Analyst in the AWS Business Unit at Tata Consultancy Services. Prior to this, he worked for more than 2 years as a Functional Analyst with Accenture Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai, where he proactively led interactions and solution delivery for the client E.H.S. software module. He was awarded as the best fresher for exemplary contribution with new ideas within 6 months in the project under the assigned business unit and received the highest performance rating throughout for consistently exceeding expectations. Throughout his career, Debayan has displayed an ability to collaborate and forge meaningful relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. He has expertise in requirement gathering, business analysis, thought leadership, business strategy, market research, go-to-market strategy, product management and marketing, competitor intelligence, digital transformation, business development, innovation, IT product strategy, user experience (UI/UX), management consulting, PL/SQL, Power BI, and other analytics tools. Debayan has also worked as a Strategy Intern at Confederation of Indian Industry, where he worked extensively on the market research and strategy project for Minerals & Mining Industry. He submitted a project report on "Strategic Sourcing of Copper Cathodes" and contributed to demand and supply data aggregation from annual reports, spend analytics, and spend management. He has also worked as a Product Management Intern at Tata Steel, where he conducted market research on the demand-supply value scenarios of secondary steel production for Indian markets standard. Debayan holds a degree in Operations, Information Technology from Management Development Institute and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from KIIT University. He is also a Research Scientist, SQL, AWS, product manager, UI, Mobile, and designer. In his free time, he loves to read and write in the self-help genre, listen to music, travel, cook, and network with people.
