Debojit Kaushik is a Senior Software Engineer at Snapsheet Inc with a passion for designing and building software systems that solve problems for consumers and businesses. He believes that ideation is the basis of creativity and is fascinated by the power of a well-composed team. Debojit's areas of interest include distributed computing, scalable systems, and event-driven software architecture. He is currently working on building a multi-tenant configurable software platform with REST APIs using RoR, React, and AWS. He is also involved in full-cycle features, software architecture, and tech advocacy for Snapsheet's Claims Management team. Prior to his work at Snapsheet, Debojit was an AI Mach Learn Scientist / Data Scientist at Anthem where he worked on distributed architectures, microservices, and ML Ops / Pipelining for healthcare data. He also worked as a Graduate Software Researcher at Caterpillar, where he designed and developed prototype telematics firmware, prototyped IoT products for efficient safety, and improved machine utilization efficiency for large-scale projects. Debojit holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. He also has a background in music composition, arrangement, and performance. Debojit's tech stack includes software engineering, research science, AWS, AI, Ruby, data science, ML, and microservices.
