Deep Bhuinya is a Senior Software Engineer at Intel, currently working with the Simics Development Team in India. He is responsible for using the Simics simulator and virtual platforms for pre-silicon software enabling and development, computer and system architecture, hardware validation, ecosystem enablement, and more. With his expertise, he has proven to be capable of modeling the most complex hardware platforms available. Prior to his current position, Deep worked on wear leveling in Non-volatile memories (NVMs) for his Master's Thesis Project. He has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, where he taught courses such as CS224: Hardware Lab and CS322M: Digital Logic and Computer Architecture. As a TA, he was responsible for conducting quizzes, mid-semester and end-semester exams, evaluating papers, generating solution reports, and coordinating with the course Instructor for smooth conduction of the course. Deep holds an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology. He has a relevant experience of 0.78 years in the field of Software Engineering. With his expertise in Simics simulation and virtual platforms, Deep is a valuable asset to the Intel team. He is also well-versed in digital logic and computer architecture concepts, making him an excellent teacher and mentor.
