Deepak Nirmal Kumar is a certified ScrumMaster (CSM)®, a program manager, and a startup enabler with over a decade of experience in the corporate, academia, and innovation ecosystem. He has a progressive career focusing on talent transformation and establishing innovation frameworks, with experience in multiple disciplines spanning technology, entrepreneurship, research, and training. Deepak's interests cover a broad spectrum, from architecting programs and processes that lead to a dynamic/sustainable innovation ecosystem to building transformation policies and programs for institutions, industry, and the government. He is currently the Program Manager at Forge Accelerator, where he manages the program framework, operations, and strategic execution of the "Innovation Practicum" as a product and its P&L. He is also managing other innovation programs designed as role model initiatives bringing together academia, industry, and the government in an open-innovation platform that transforms ideas into technologically advanced solutions and ventures. In addition to his program management role, Deepak is a mentor for deep-tech startups and academic innovations with potential IP. He has previously worked as a BI Developer and an Assistant Professor, where he demonstrated his expertise in Waterfall, Prototyping, and iterative Agile and Scrum based approaches of project deliverables. He has also exhibited effective communication and interpersonal skills, planning and organizing over 70 technical, cultural, and alumni programs. Deepak holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in VLSI Design from SRM University and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Sapthagiri Engineering College. He has also completed his 12th in Mathematics and Computer Science from Amrita University. Overall, Deepak has 10.60 years of relevant experience and is a tech stack expert in Research Scientist. He is a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and a goal-oriented team leader who is passionate about building transformation policies and programs that drive innovation and growth.
