Deepak Thakur is a highly skilled and passionate Cloud Architect with over 10 years of hands-on experience in software design, development, and deployment of large-scale web applications on education, social media, and e-commerce domains. He is a certified Kubernetes Administrator and has expertise in DevOps, AWS, Azure, Jenkins, Gitlab, Bamboo, Kubernetes, CloudFront, Terraform, Ansible, Bitbucket, ELK, Python, Shell Scripting, Elasticcache, and Prometheus. Currently, Deepak is working as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Adobe, where he coaches customers on best practices in deploying and maintaining AEM/CQ5 on AWS/Azure. He helps customers in architecting solutions on AWS & AZURE, deploying their content on Kubernetes managed containers, and creating world-class websites. He also ensures site availability, security, and performance, and maintains a positive relationship with assigned customers by meeting with them regularly and assisting them with activities such as performance tuning, security hardening, migrations, and integrations. In his past roles, Deepak worked as a DevOps Architect at Genpact and as a DevOps Engineer at Ericsson. At Genpact, he provided highly durable and available data by creating and managing policies for S3 data store, versioning, and lifecycle policies. He used AWS Lambda to run servers without managing them and to trigger to run code by S3 and SNS. He set up and built AWS infrastructure for various resources, used Ansible for server provisioning and automating infrastructure, and created Bamboo pipelines. At Ericsson, he worked on automation and visualization of data, scripting in Bash & Python, and migration of applications to containers (Docker). He also worked on full infrastructure and microservices monitoring and alerting using various DevOps tools, Jenkins master slaves architecture, distributed builds using AWS spot instances, and infrastructure automation using DevOps tools. Deepak holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Information Technology from Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from Delhi University.
