Deepraj P. is a research and development professional with a passion for renewable energy and technology. He is currently working as a Research Intern at Microsoft Research India, where he is focused on renewable energy in data centers. Deepraj has a strong background in cyber-physical systems, trusted execution environments, and blockchain-powered contact tracing. Deepraj is also building a maker network at Ashoka University through a new Makerspace with the Computer Science Department. He has a track record of entrepreneurial undertakings, including India's first hackathon for high school students and a product development and tech consultancy venture. Deepraj is also an open-source contributor. In the past, Deepraj has founded and advised Redbrick Hacks, an organization that promotes hackathons in India. He has also served as Outreach Director at Hult Prize Ashoka University, where he led the outreach team in the organizing committee of the Ashoka Chapter of the International Social Entrepreneurship Competition. Deepraj has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Studies and Research from Ashoka University.
