Deepti Patro is a seasoned Software Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the industry. Currently, she is working as a Senior Software Engineer at opengear, where she is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality software solutions. Prior to this, Deepti has worked with Cisco in various roles, including Senior Software Engineer - Laas-ng and Performance Test Engineer. At Cisco, Deepti worked on a tool that helps manage hardware devices in a hardware adequate lab among users. She was responsible for developing an advanced reservation system with additional functionalities like building topologies based on physical devices and virtual machines. She also brought up the connection between them using platforms like vios, xrvr, and n9k. As a Performance Test Engineer, Deepti was part of the Build Acceleration team in Software Tools and Engineering Productivity (STEP). She drove advances in IOS build productivity through tooling and improvements in the makefile structure. She measured the build performance in different servers with different configurations, using Jenkins to schedule the jobs. Deepti holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Engineering, and Electronics from the National Institute of Science & Technology, where she graduated in 2009. She has a strong technical background and is skilled in Software Engineering, SDET, test, Jenkins, and iOS. Apart from her technical skills, Deepti is also the Founder and CEO of Vyannjan, a company that provides authentic regional Indian cuisine to customers.
