Dennis Ivy is a seasoned software developer, instructor, and marketing director with over 6 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a software developer at Agora, where he is responsible for bringing awareness and training for Agoras Web SDK through video tutorials and articles. Prior to his current role, Dennis worked as a full-stack developer at Foi Labs for over 2 years, where he designed, built, and managed Laboratory management software. The software was responsible for storing lab fuel sample data and sending reports to client dashboard when testing was complete. He also worked as a WordPress developer, SEO/Google Adwords specialist, and digital marketer for local businesses in the Vancouver area at Unifive Digital for over 5 years. Dennis has a strong technical background and is proficient in various technologies, including Python, Django, ReactJS, and front-end development. He is passionate about learning new languages, frameworks, and concepts and has a keen interest in software engineering, web development, and testing. In his latest endeavor, Dennis built a laboratory management system (LIMS) that stored lab fuel sample data and provided a customer interface which clients can log in and view test results on petroleum samples. He recently sold his software to his former employer and now spends his time teaching software developers on his YouTube channel (Dennis Ivy) & blog. Dennis holds a degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Clark College.
