Dev Tyagi is a final year Computer Science Engineering student from Jaypee University of Information Technology and an aspiring software engineer with a passion for building products. He is currently working as an SDE Intern at Amazon and has previously worked as an SDE Intern (Backend Developer) at Tartan. Dev has a strong background in Backend Projects with Microservices architecture and has worked on a number of projects in the field of Android Development, Front End Development, Back End Development, Automation, and many others. His competencies include Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, Spring Security, AWS, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, ExpressJS, MongoDB, and MySQL. At Tartan, Dev was responsible for building https://www.startbatik.com/, revamping the complete Authentication module using Spring Security, implementing various User Management features with AWS Cognito, integrating Batik with Qwikcilver APIs for creating a Giftcard Marketplace, creating the email communication mechanism for Batik using AWS SES, and building a Lead sharing mechanism using CRON scheduler in Spring which in turn reduced the need for 3 separate EC2 instances. Dev has also held leadership positions at ACM Association for Computing Machinery, where he was Chairperson and responsible for the overall development of chapter programs, and App Development Team Head, where he conducted a week-long Android Development Boot camp for the freshers, led a team of 15+ students, and created the official android app for the community - ACM Omnia, currently being used by 150+ users. Dev's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Computer Science from Jaypee University of Information Technology and a CBSE in Physics, Chemistry, Maths from JKG International School.
