Devan Batavia is a seasoned business leader with over 10 years of experience in building and leading go-to-market teams for startups. As a General Partner at Enjoy The Work, he is passionate about uncovering the magical intersection between what the market wants and how to sell it. Devan has worn many hats in his startup life, from business development to product management to sales, and has built and led teams for three organizations, one of which went public (Jive, valued at $1B+), the other acquired by Intuit, and most recently at TripActions (a private company now valued at $4B+). Devan's current role as an advisor at 4M Analytics, a subsurface-infrastructure geo-data company founded by satellite and subsurface engineering experts, allows him to leverage his expertise in go-to-market strategy and product development to help the company scale and grow. He has also advised other startups such as Stellic, an integrated planning & advising platform, and Fieldin, a smart farm control center. Devan's educational background includes an MBA in Strategy, Marketing, and International Business from Carnegie Mellon University and a BSc. in Computer & Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. He is also a habitual meditator, which he believes helps him make better decisions, be a better leader, and cultivate empathy, compassion, and humility. Devan's tech stack includes infrastructure and product management, and he has relevant experience of 4.60 years. His passion for building startups and helping founders achieve their goals has led him to his current role at Enjoy The Work, where he supports 50+ founders via immersive 1-on-1 advisory and virtual training programs.
