Devendra Satram is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer II with over 9 years of experience in developing and implementing IT products and enterprise architecture solutions for multi-crore businesses. He is currently working at Citrix as part of the workspace – app protection team, where his responsibilities include product development, feature research and development, and bug fixes. His primary focus is on application protection features like keylogger protection and screen capture protection for various apps that are offered in Citrix workspace. Devendra has a strong command of C++, Python, and Objective-C/Swift, which he uses to develop and deliver optimal solutions to challenging projects. Prior to joining Citrix, Devendra worked at Cisco as a Software Development Engineer, where he was part of the Webex UCRE team. Here, he developed a product that enables users to join Webex meetings from VOIP phones/mobile phones. His roles included feature development, bug fixes, and working with C++/C and Python languages. Devendra also integrated an alerting and visualizations platform with their service to improve service quality. He mentored new joiners and gave tech sessions related to new C++ standard and latest concepts. Devendra also worked at Esko as a Software Engineer, where he was part of the product development team. He developed and customized Digital front-end products that are widely used for industrial printers. Devendra worked with C++/C/Python languages, explored image processing in printing domain, and gained a deep understanding of product design methodologies and their integrations with 3rd party vendors. He designed and developed many new features and was also responsible for product builds and delivery. Devendra holds a PGD in Machine learning and artificial intelligence from iiit Bangalore and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from jntua college of engineering, Anantapur. He has a diverse tech stack that includes software engineering, Python, research scientist, mobile, Objective-C, image processing, product designer, and frontend.
