He is currently the VP and Head of Engineering at Bonito Designs, where he continues to exercise his passion for technology and entrepreneurship. Devendra is a firm believer in achieving excellence at every level of personal and professional life. He has helped many early-stage founders formulate product, business, technology, investment, funding, and people strategies. He has also created complete product delivery roadmaps with resources, costing, and timelines from MVPs to production. Devendra's technical and functional exposures are vast and include hands-on experience on open-source and Azure cloud-based app development and big data computing platforms. He is a microservices, backend, and middle-tier expert with full-stack exposure. He is also an expert in Java Stack, Big Data technologies like Azure Datalake, Cosmos DB, and UI Latest stacks like ReactJS, AngularJS, and HTML5. Devendra is well-versed with most common design patterns, data structures & algorithms, HLD, LLD, distributed systems, cloud computing, and architecting complex systems with simple interfaces. He has worked for companies such as Microsoft and Shadowfax, where he held principal architect and senior software engineer (solution architect role) positions, respectively. Devendra holds a Master's degree in Computer Applications from Mumbai University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics Major, Math Sub-Major, with Chemistry and Foundation Courses on Environment, Human Rights from the same institution.
