Devesh Prasad is an ambitious and highly motivated individual who is currently pursuing an MSc in Data Science at the University of Manchester. With a keen interest in software and data engineering, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, Devesh has gained valuable experience working with eight different startups for around 18 months, taking on various roles such as software developer, teaching assistant, and market researcher. He has also worked with eight non-profits, including UNV India and Yuwaah UNICEF India. Currently, Devesh is working as a data science researcher at be.ev, where he is working on a project that involves analyzing the impact of public electric vehicle charger proximity on utilization. His objective is to use public and private data sets to understand the impact of other charger locations on charger utilization and identify other factors that can have an impact on site utilization. He is also interested in exploring additional research that can validate or further his findings. Devesh's past experience includes working as a data science researcher at The Mill, where he developed his own dissertation topic and worked on real-world data extraction and cleansing from multiple sources with suitable visualizations and journalism skills. He also worked as a market research intern at HackerEarth, where he researched chief-level contacts across the USA and Canada using different tools like Apollo, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Devesh has a strong educational background, having completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics and Computer Science from Delhi University. He is set to complete his MSc in Data Science from the University of Manchester in 2023. Devesh is skilled in data science, research, AI, data engineering, machine learning, and software engineering. With relevant experience of 0.36 years, he is eager to gain as much experience as possible and continue to grow in his career.
