Devin's interest in technology started at a young age, taking apart broken VCRs to see how they worked, and this eventually led him to pursue a career in software development. Devin graduated from The Iron Yard as a Full Stack Engineer with a focus on the front-end. During his time there, he made many contributions to Github and worked on several projects as a team. One of his most rewarding projects was a Notes App created using React and store.js. As a Specialist in the Indiana Army National Guard, Devin has learned time management tools and how to stay calm under pressure. He has also shown his ability to complete tasks on schedule and communicate well with other departments during his previous work at Collective Alternative. Devin has completed several websites using WordPress and other Content Management Systems from beginning to end, including working with hosting and domain sites. Devin continues to evolve as a developer, making contributions to Github, learning more languages, and gaining more insight into the languages he already knows. His main goal is to be at a company where he can commit clean code every day and contribute to software that will be used by millions. Currently working as a Web Developer at fervor creative, Devin has previously worked as a Front End Developer freelancer and a Software Developer at Charles Schwab.
