Devin Francis is a passionate and hard-working individual with a background in logistics and a deep love for computers. He has always been drawn to technology, from tinkering with computers as a hobby to helping friends and family with virus removal. Despite not having formal training in the field, Devin has pursued his passion for technology and is now an experienced software developer with a focus on Golang and web development. Devin's career journey began in logistics, where he started as a picker/packer and worked his way up to become a general manager for a trucking company. However, after realizing that he was not fulfilled in his role, he decided to pursue his passion for technology. He is now a summer intern at El Toro IP Targeting, where he is gaining in-depth knowledge of software development and building key business components using Golang. Devin has also held previous roles at El Toro IP Targeting, where he worked as a junior software developer and mid-level software developer/team lead. In these positions, he built services using Golang and Python, created scripts to aid in production and support of services, and led a team of three other employees in updating, maintaining, and creating new services. Devin's educational background includes an Associate's degree in Computer Programming from Jefferson Community College in Kentucky, as well as certificates in Back End Software Development from Code Louisville and Front-End Web Development from Coursera. He is also a Google IT Support Professional. In addition to his technical skills, Devin is an outgoing and outspoken individual who enjoys talking to people and tackling any task. He believes in the power of collaboration and is not afraid to ask for help when needed. With over a year of relevant experience in software development, Devin is eager to continue growing his career in the field and pursuing his passion for technology.
