At Harman, Devmallya worked as a Data Scientist R&D Engineer, where he utilized Tensorflow and Keras to build an advanced statistically effective Machine Learning, sequential Deep Learning, and time series-based prediction model to estimate retail sales for Walmart, Target, and Pepsico, with a 98% accuracy rate on their quarterly multivariate data. He also built a hand gesture system for a German automobile brand using Tensorflow Lite and a Deep Learning-based CNN and state-of-the-art RESNET model with 3D technology that gives a 92% accuracy rate. Devmallya's educational background includes a Master of Science in Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence from Liverpool John Moores University, a PGD in Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence from IIIT Bangalore, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from MS Engineering College Bangalore. He has also studied French Language and Literature at Alliance University and Computer Science at Kendriya Vidyalaya Santragachi, Kolkata, and St. Thomas Church School, Kolkata.
