Currently working at Braze, Devon is responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that help businesses engage with their customers more effectively. As a Senior Software Engineer, Devon is an expert in Kubernetes, Docker, and other relevant technologies. Before joining Braze, Devon worked at WeWork as a Senior Software Engineer and Spatial Resource Team Lead Engineer. In this role, he was responsible for leading the technical design and implementation of low-latency GRPC APIs that exposed physical space data, unlocking the future of building design, architecture, and physical space interaction. Devon's expertise in technologies such as Go, Protobuf, GRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm helped him excel in this role. Devon has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at ConceptShare, which was later acquired by Deltek. Here, he was the technical lead on ConceptShare web content review and approval, and was the first to market an enterprise-friendly and fully capable live website review and approval system. Devon was also the inventor of a provisional patent pertaining to the review and approval of live websites, and led the development of the ConceptShare Jira integration on the Atlassian marketplace.
