Dhananjay Gupta is a technical consultant and freelance software engineer with over 6 years of relevant experience. He is a graduate of Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where he earned a Master of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. Currently, Dhananjay is a Senior Backend Engineer at 6sense, where he is responsible for developing and implementing software solutions to solve complex problems. He is a skilled software engineer with expertise in AWS, Terraform, Java, Docker, Kafka, MongoDB, Jenkins, Spring, Computer Vision, ECS, AI, AWS Glue, Apache Airflow, CI/CD, Spring Boot, Microservices, ETL, GCP, and Integration. Prior to joining 6sense, Dhananjay worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Morningstar, where he created the portfolio construction application to create rule-based portfolios. He also worked on event-based architecture to capture data through Kafka, stored data as events in DynamoDB, calculated on these events through microservices in Java(Spring) and produced the event results to Kafka. He engineered the File Delivery application to download and upload files through FTP/SAN of Vendor and Clients and collaborated on the Index Eligible Equities project to calculate eligible securities for Index processes. Dhananjay is passionate about solving problems efficiently and effectively. He is a team player who collaborates well with others and is always looking for ways to improve his skills and knowledge.
