Dhananjay Sathe is an accomplished Executive Director with a passion for building intelligent robots with brains in the cloud. He has over 9 years of relevant experience in designing complex heterogeneous distributed systems, hacking up cloud platforms primarily Kubernetes, and managing and building a large number of operational tools and frameworks. Currently, Dhananjay is the first member setting up the Cloud Platform Team and India Office of Rapyuta Robotics, where his primary goal is to build a cloud platform for robots that will form the processing and coordination backbone to power the next generation of smart robots. He is responsible for setting up teams, policy, legal, and other admin matters. Before joining Rapyuta Robotics, Dhananjay was a Senior Operations Engineer at Directi, where he was a part of the Core Platform Team building, designing, and developing the central platform and tools for Directi and Endurance. He was also a Research Assistant at ETH Zurich, where he was a core developer on the RoboEarth Project, focusing on Rapyuta - The RoboEarth Cloud Engine, the world's first open-source cloud robotics platform. Dhananjay holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He also completed his High School education from Kendriya Vidyalaya. Dhananjay's tech stack includes Kubernetes and Research Scientist. He is a highly motivated individual who is committed to achieving excellence in everything he does. He is a team player and an excellent communicator who can work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
