Dhanush Kumar Akunuri is a highly motivated and passionate Software Engineer with a Master's degree in Computer Science from Uppsala University. He has a strong interest in innovation in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, with a focus on Machine Learning. Dhanush is currently working on his Master's thesis, titled "A Machine Learning approach on Microwave Sensing for early detection of BDAS, COMFORT, and Lymphoedema" at MMG, Uppsala University. He has also developed a Data Visualization Dashboard in collaboration with Road Transport Authority Hyderabad and Factly for his capstone project. This project helped him secure a prominent internship at Factly, where he worked closely with the Data Analytics Team and contributed to Data Scraping, Data Exploration, and Visualization. Dhanush has worked on several projects related to Machine Learning, including Self-Driving Car using Reinforcement Learning in Unity Environment, Spatial-Temporal Attention for Action Recognition using LSTM, Number Plate Detection using OCR in MATLAB, and Retinal vessel segmentation using k-mean and fuzzy c-means in Matlab. In his third semester, he worked on an industrial project to predict Stockholm’s Air Quality using Federated Learning in collaboration with Ericsson. Dhanush's technical skills include programming languages like Python, R, HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, and Matlab. He is also proficient in databases like SQL, MySQL, and MongoDB. He has experience working with operating systems like Linux, Windows, and Cent OS. Additionally, he has expertise in REST APIs, Terraform, Git, Docker, Agile, Visualization, Flask, AWS, Openstack, Hadoop, Spark, gRPC, Htcondor, and Cluster Computing. Dhanush is a highly organized and precise worker with strong communication skills. He is a potential candidate for a software developer position and is currently working as a Machine Learning Developer at afry. Dhanush has worked as a Degree Project Intern at Ericsson and as a Data Analyst Intern at Factly Media & Research. Overall, Dhanush has 1.86 years of relevant experience and is always looking for new collaborations and opportunities to grow.
