Dharmang Bhavsar is a Senior Software Engineer at Dell EMC (DataDomain) with over 4 years of relevant experience in the field of Software Development and Data Science. He is a Computer Science Graduate Student at North Carolina State University and specializes in Data Science and Statistics. He is interested in exploring the implications of Computer Science into various fields, including Healthcare, Autonomous Systems, Banking, and especially Finance. Dharmang is proficient in various programming languages such as C++, Python, C, Ruby on Rails, and SQL (MySQL and OracleDB). He has also worked with Java, JavaScript, R, GNU Octave, and Hadoop. He possesses knowledge of Machine Learning and statistical libraries in Python, including Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, and Scikit-Learn. Currently, Dharmang is working with the Data Replication team at Dell to solve persistent data storage challenges in the Data Protection Domain and develop new replication and data access strategies/algorithms for EMC servers. His tech stack involves C/C++, Python(2 and 3), Ruby, Bash Scripting, Perforce, Git, Perl (rarely), GDB (macro development and debugging), and Linux. In the past, he has also worked as a Software Engineer at Geneva Trading, where he developed a Wireshark protocol dissector plugin for the EUREX exchange's Enhanced Trading Interface protocol messages. Dharmang has completed his Master's degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University in 2019, and his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Information Technology from L.D College of Engineering in 2017. He has also completed his High School/Secondary Certificate Programs from Nirman High School in 2013.
