Dharmendra Maurya is a technology enthusiast and a product specialist with over 7 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as the Senior Product Manager for Growth and New Initiatives at Ola, India's largest ride-sharing company, where he is focused on building a better product experience. Prior to this, he was a part of Swiggy Labs, where he generated ideas and took them from concept to GTM as a Catalyst. Dharmendra is also an experienced EV specialist with a demonstrated history of working in automotive companies such as ION Energy and eBikeGo. He was a founding member of the team at Carnot, where he built and scaled up 3 IoT products from scratch to scale and sold them across the country to B2B customers. He scaled up the team from 6 people to 35 across different domains. During his college days at IIT Bombay, Dharmendra built a single-seater electric race car that could go 0-100kmph in less than 3.1s, leading the Electrical inspection at Silverstone, Formula Student UK event. This experience led him towards building products and creating an impact on businesses. Dharmendra is skilled in product development, IoT systems, production management, product design, and algorithms. He has a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. In addition to his current role at Ola, Dharmendra is also a Product Mentor at The Mentoring Club Gug. He has previously worked as a Product Architect at TieSet, where he architected the first application with federated machine learning frameworks to enable distributed learning on edge devices without sharing data to the central server and optimized latency & cost. He also built the complete user journey & backend dashboard, leading the team to raise a seed round of 1M$. Dharmendra's tech stack includes product design, product management, senior software engineering, AI, ML, and backend development. He is a highly skilled professional with a passion for building innovative products and creating an impact on businesses.
