Dharmik Gohel is a seasoned Talent Acquisition professional with over 10 years of experience in the field. He has spent the last seven years navigating the process of growing startups from an early stage to a scale-up phase. He has had his fair share of luck, some glorious days, plenty of sleepless nights, few pitfalls, a lot of flights, discovered-lost-rediscovered his zen, lot of coffee and some greys. Hence they say, a startup is not a job, it's a lifestyle choice. Currently, Dharmik is the Director of Talent Acquisition at Atlan, where he is responsible for identifying and matching the edgy, creative, and strategic talent with the right opportunities. Beyond hiring, he is heavily involved in working with Founders & other leaders in defining as well as executing the right “strategy” to build and maintain their culture and team processes. Prior to Atlan, Dharmik worked at SocialCops as the Talent Acquisition Lead, where he kick-started the Talent vertical and navigated the process of growing the company from the startup phase to the scale-up phase. He partnered with the founders in scaling the team from 15 to almost 90 and provided strategic direction and thought leadership on every aspect of Talent, People Operations & Culture. He designed, broke & re-designed hiring workflows, successful recruiting plans, performance management systems, referral programs, social media marketing initiatives, internship & Campus hiring. Before SocialCops, Dharmik worked at Ishi Systems Inc as a Talent Acquisition professional, where he was convinced that nothing they did was more important than hiring and developing people. He worked with some great recruitment minds and learned the secrets of the game called "Hiring." He was one of the key organizers of the Ahmedabad Java meetup group and headed Google I/O 2015 in Ahmedabad at Ishi. He also hired some awesome people for the team. Dharmik has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. His tech stack includes Data Scientist, Research Scientist, Big Data, and Java. He is passionate about making a job hard to earn but worthy of earning.
