Dhaval Pungaliya is a Product Intern at Glance and a Computer Science undergraduate at BITS Goa. He is set to join Axtria as a professional in the near future. Currently, Dhaval is serving as the Coordinator for the Peer Mentoring Program at BITS Goa, which aims to help new students adjust to the college environment, make connections on campus, and feel empowered. This program has a 3-tier system consisting of first-year mentees, second-year mentors, and coordinators from the third year. As a Student Mentor in the program, Dhaval mentored several first-year students and guided them through the issues they were facing. His role also included encouraging students to take up different academic and cultural activities and guiding them on how to go about different things in college. In the past, Dhaval has worked as the Secretary for the Chemistry Association at BITS Goa, where he was responsible for improving the Chemistry culture on campus by conducting talks, events, and students' meets. He was also a part of the Student Faculty Council (SFC) for the academic year 2019-20, where he put the students' interests and feedback before the Head of the Department and faculty members to improve the academic curriculum and the way courses were taught. During the lockdown, Dhaval even organized an online event and kept a quiz having questions related to Chemistry. Dhaval has completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Master of Science in Chemistry from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Goa Campus. He also holds a 12th-HSC (Maharashtra State Board) degree from Rajiv Gandhi Junior College and an ICSE Board degree from The Bishop's School. Dhaval's tech stack includes Javascript, React Native, and Web. He has a relevant experience of 2.78 years. Dhaval is an enthusiastic and proactive individual who is always willing to learn and grow. He is passionate about helping others and making a difference in their lives.
