Dheeraj Allamaneni is a Machine Learning Engineer by heart and an Entrepreneur by passion. He is the Director and Co-Founder at Cynohub, an Edutech startup for undergrads. Dheeraj is passionate about bringing change to overlooked sectors in the industry, and his current focus is on one of the most overlooked sectors in India - Undergraduate Education. With millions of students enrolling in this career path, a majority of them are lacking proper resources to be employable once they graduate. Dheeraj has partnered with several incredible organizations and institutions to bring his vision to life and currently has over 10,000+ undergrad students all across India studying on his platform. Dheeraj's passion for creating change was rooted within him from his childhood as he was a part of several social welfare organizations, with the help of which he impacted thousands of young lives in their preliminary education. Before co-founding Cynohub, Dheeraj worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University, where he developed algorithms to predict electricity prices and worked on demand forecasting using deep neural networks for Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) segment. He also worked alongside Prof. Dr. Yu Wang on Energy Modelling and Forecast Research by developing advanced Deep Neural Network Algorithms. Dheeraj has also worked as an IoT and Algorithms Developer at Parishod Technologies, which focuses immensely on agriculture and farmers. He worked alongside people who are just as passionate about agriculture as he is, and the time he spent there gave him several insights into the agriculture market and its inner workings. Dheeraj has a Master's degree in Computer Engineering and a minor in Statistics from Iowa State University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, and a Higher Secondary School degree from Delta Junior College. He has a relevant experience of 3.70 years and is skilled in ML, Research Scientist, and Neural Networks.
