Dheeraj Reddy Pailla is an accomplished Software Engineer and Research Scientist with a passion for Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and Social Computing. He is currently pursuing his MS in Computational Science and Engineering from Georgia Tech and is set to graduate in May 2022. Dheeraj holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering (Honors) from the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad, which he completed in May 2020. Dheeraj has a diverse professional background, having worked in academia and industry. He has contributed to several research papers, including two publications at ICWSM 2020 and ACM WebSci 2021. He has also worked as a Teaching Assistant for CS 6250 - Computer Networks at Georgia Tech, both in Spring and Fall 2021. Before joining Georgia Tech, Dheeraj worked for six months as an AI Software Engineer at SubtlAI, a startup based in India. At SubtlAI, he worked on the Subtl Bot project, where he developed efficient pipelines to read, understand, and index documents for search. Dheeraj's work pertained to supplementing document intelligence using OCR and deep learning language models. Dheeraj's areas of expertise include Software Engineering, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, Search, and AI. He excels in designing and implementing software solutions that leverage these technologies. His technical skills include Spring, language models, and relevant experience of 2.03 years.
