Dheeraj Sanghi is an accomplished academic leader with extensive experience in institution building. He is currently serving as the Vice Chancellor at JK Lakshmipat University in Jaipur, Rajasthan, where he is responsible for providing quality education in engineering, design, and management. Prior to this, he worked for two years as the Director (Vice Chancellor) of LNMIIT, a deemed-to-be university in Jaipur, where he doubled the faculty size, introduced new programs, and implemented changes in the curriculum to focus on research. With over 29 years of relevant experience, Dheeraj has held various leadership positions in renowned educational institutions. He has been the Dean of Academic Affairs at IIT Kanpur, where he helped in the implementation of new program structures, including double major and minor, and enhanced automation. He has also been the Dean of Academic Affairs and Dean of External Relations at IIIT Delhi, where he played a crucial role in starting CS+X programs, and improved alumni connect and international relations. Dheeraj is a renowned researcher in the area of computer networks and network security. He has advised several institutions on how to improve education and has been a member of various important committees, including Board, Senate (Academic Council), Review committees, Boards of Study, etc., at different institutions. He has a special focus on curricular design, teaching/learning processes, student counseling, and higher technical education, and has advised thousands of students on admission-related queries and other academic issues. Dheeraj holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, an MS in Computer Science from the same university, and a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT. He has also completed his high school and 10th class from SBM Sr. Sec. School, Moti Nagar, Delhi, and Ramjas Sr. Sec. School No. 2, Anand Parbat, Delhi, respectively. He started his academic journey from Children Home School, Rohtak Road, Delhi.
