Dhirendra Singh is a seasoned software engineer with over 8 years of experience in building scalable services for home shopping and search. He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Zillow, where he is responsible for building core home shopping services. Previously, Dhirendra worked at Microsoft under Bing to build scalable services for Substrate Search, which was the new email and document search on Outlook, OWA, and Cortana, released in 2017. He also interned at Microsoft Bing Team during summer 2014, where he solved a problem related to storage of large amounts of cold path metrics. Dhirendra is also a co-founder of Katr, a startup that aims to help people share their home-cooked meals with their neighbors, co-workers, and families, or buy from them, in their vicinity. He has also done multiple side hustles, although they didn't see large adoption. Nonetheless, he is determined to continue creating and selling innovative solutions. Dhirendra holds a Master of Science (MS) Thesis degree in Computer Science from McGill University and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna. He completed his 12th grade education in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from Simpkins Senior Secondary School. Dhirendra's tech stack includes expertise in search and software engineering. He is a highly motivated and goal-oriented individual who is always looking for ways to improve his skills and knowledge.
