Dhrumesh Patel is an Industrial Engineering Graduate Student at Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, currently in a transition phase in his career where he is exploring Industrial Automation and Supply Chain engineering. He is actively looking for an Internship for Summer'23, with career opportunities in Industrial Automation, Supply chain, and Operations Management, Demand Planning, Forecasting, Procurement, Logistics, and lean manufacturing. Dhrumesh has a deep understanding of the Industrial/supply chain market in terms of the employer's standpoint and now has started exploring this market from the employee's standpoint. He has the ability to work across diverse cultures & geographies and can connect the dots between technology and people. He is a people-focused, results-driven professional who is passionate about working with great people and delivering results in a timely manner. Currently, Dhrumesh is working as VP - Incoming Global Talent at AIESEC in Concordia, where he facilitates Incoming Global Volunteers from abroad by offering the best experience possible. He manages everything from visas to apartment hunts to making them feel as welcome as possible. He creates opportunities for talent abroad while fostering relationships with various companies in Montreal. He also leads the talent sourcing for open positions and fosters relations with International AIESEC committees. In his past work experience, Dhrumesh worked as a Senior Analyst at EY, where he developed hiring plans and strategized sourcing methodologies using job boards and X-Ray searches on LinkedIn, Stake overflow, and GitHub. He also established a focus on post-offer candidate engagement to reduce offer decline. Dhrumesh holds a Master of Engineering - MEng in Industrial Engineering from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Mechanical Engineering from LDRP Institute of Technology & Research, Gujarat Technological University. In his free time, Dhrumesh loves to do hiking and mountaineering, watch either mind-boggling thrillers or romantic classics, play volleyball, and wait to eat anything he likes.
