Dhruv Agrawal is the Co-Founder and COO of Shipsy, a technology company that aims to revolutionize the logistics industry. With over 11 years of relevant experience, Dhruv has been instrumental in shaping Shipsy's growth trajectory and expanding its reach across India and international markets. Under Dhruv's leadership, Shipsy has become a dominant player in the domestic logistics space, with over 30% of the Indian courier/express industry flowing through its platform. The company has also made significant inroads in international markets, with clients in Saudi Arabia, UAE, North Africa, and Southeast Asia. Shipsy processes over 1.5 million transactions a day across these customers, making it one of the most trusted and reliable logistics platforms in the world. Dhruv's expertise in international freight has been critical to the success of Shipsy's new product line, which has seen tremendous traction since its launch in 2019. The product line focuses on solving customers' problems around lack of visibility, the opacity of price procurement, communication with various stakeholders in the ecosystem, and ease of payments and financing. Dhruv leads a team of over 180 members across three locations in India. The team comprises top talent from premier institutes like IITs, IIITs, NITs, with experience in Big Data, Software Architecture, ML, AI, Robotics, and Blockchain. The core team has computer scientists, electrical engineers from IIT Delhi and Madras, and this core tech focus contributes tremendously to the learning of employees. Prior to founding Shipsy, Dhruv worked at Deutsche Bank as a Strategy Quant, FX & Rates, and at General Electric as a Research Intern, Medical Image Analysis Group. He has published research papers and filed a US patent for his work on developing new feedback technology for assisting in ECG (ultrasound) scanning and ultrasound image retrieval. Dhruv completed his high school education at DAV Public School, Kota, and his junior school education at Maharana Mewar Public School, Udaipur. He has expertise in Research Science, Blockchain, AI, Big Data, ML, and SVM.
