Dhruv Kapoor is the Co-founder and Chief Technology and Product Officer (CTPO) at Zilingo, where he leads a team of over 100 technology and product experts. Dhruv's passion for technology started during his early years, and he has since become an alumnus of IIT Guwahati. He strongly believes in holistic learning, business agility, and a solution-based approach, which has helped him play a crucial role in Zilingo's evolution from a B2C marketplace to a B2B trade market. Dhruv's long-term vision for Zilingo is to continue building innovative products that help small and large businesses procure and distribute goods more efficiently with easier access to logistics, payments, and financing. He also aims to enable factories to easily digitize their operations, thereby shaping the future of supply chains. Prior to Zilingo, Dhruv worked as a Software Engineer at Kiwi, a Sequoia-backed mobile gaming studio, where he was engaged primarily in full-stack web development using the Play framework. He also developed social, isometric mobile games on the iOS platform using the Cocos 2D framework. At Yahoo, Dhruv worked as a full-stack developer on Yahoo's internal localization processes automation tool, which was part of Yahoo's Globalization initiative. He was engaged in development in Java, with the Spring framework and Hibernate ORM, and Javascript using YUI for the frontend. Dhruv's education background includes a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. His tech stack includes Mobile, Web, Javascript, iOS, Software Engineering, Design, Product Management, Data Science, Frontend, Big Data, Scala, Java, and Spring. With over 10.95 years of relevant experience, Dhruv is excited about the possibility of helping to shape the future of supply chains and build innovative products that enable businesses to grow their online presence more seamlessly.
