Dhruv Kaushal is a seasoned Tech Lead with over 6 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is currently serving as the Co-Founder and CTO at Bolkar app (formerly Pascolan), an audio-based Q&A platform for the next 500 million native internet users in India. Dhruv has a passion for building tech for the next billion internet users and has experience handling 2+ million daily active users. He loves designing scalable and robust architecture design and strongly believes that "Caching" is the 11th wonder of the world. At Bolkar, Dhruv is leading the tech team and has been instrumental in the app's success. The app has been nominated by Google Play for #GooglePlayBestOf User's Choice Awards and has been selected for Google Play's Best for Personal Growth App 2020. Over the past year, the Bolkar app has seen over 2 lakh downloads with more than 4 lakh Q&A already posted on the app. Dhruv's vision for Bolkar is to create a fully-fledged audio content platform where regional language users can use the platform up to its full potential without any barrier of language and typing. The market potential for Bolkar is huge, with 526 million users expected by 2021. Prior to Bolkar, Dhruv worked as an SO2 Software Developer at Times Internet, where he was part of the central team and worked on multiple products at the architecture level, including BrainBaazi/BaaziNow (Online Trivia Show), Stash AI Junk Cleaner App, Gaana, and Mx Player Store. He also founded Jiit Connect, a college utility app packed with features like Time Table, Attendance View, Detailed Attendance, Annapurna Menu, SGPA/CGPA Calculator, Placement Results, and Campus Popular Stories. Dhruv holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science from Jaypee University and completed his high school education in Mathematics and Computer Science from DAV Public School, Sreshtha Vihar. His tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, Android, AI, and Software Engineer. Dhruv is a highly motivated and driven individual who is passionate about building tech for the next billion internet users.
