Dhruv Khaitan is a highly skilled and accomplished professional with over 5 years of experience in the Consumer tech, Media & Entertainment, and Sports Broadcasting industries. He is currently serving as the Senior Manager of Sports Partnerships & Alliances at Dream11, where he is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with sports entities and leagues. Dhruv holds a Post Graduate Program in Finance and Marketing from ISB Hyderabad and has passed CFA Level 1. He has a variety of roles under his belt, including Business Strategy, Business Development, Partnerships and Alliances, and Content Development. Prior to his current role, Dhruv worked at Star TV as the Chief of Staff to the ex-President at Star India (Hotstar International and Sports Leagues). He was responsible for developing business strategies for Hotstar International, which included setting up go-to-market plans and 5-year business goals for expansion into new markets. He also managed marketing plans for marquee tentpole events like the Cricket World Cup, IPL, and TV channels shutdown in the US by collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization. Additionally, Dhruv worked with Mashal Sports to launch Pro Kabaddi League Season 7. Before joining Dream11, Dhruv also worked at Hotstar as the Partnerships & Growth Strategy - International. In this role, he scaled user acquisition by setting up new distribution channels and co-marketing alliances, including OTT, Affiliates, Referral Program, Retail, Telco & Platform partners in the US, Canada, and the UK. Dhruv has a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Dwarkadas J Sanghvi College of Engineering and has completed his HSC 12th from KC College and High School from Greenlawns High School. He has also earned a Level 1 Certification from CFA Institute and a Digital Marketing Certification from Digital Vidya.
