Dhruv Metha is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a passion for smart product development. With over 4 years of relevant experience, he has worked on a variety of projects, ranging from Bluetooth-based indoor navigation systems to unsupervised machine learning and data analytics. Currently working as a Technical Trainer at skillx, Dhruv has also worked as a Software Engineer at leanovate, where he led the frontend team for SpaceSense, a BMS-based platform. He was responsible for designing and building complex layouts for a room booking system, as well as formulating a system for the team to follow a consistent coding style. As an Agile Scrum Master, he coordinated and communicated between the CXO, the UX developers, and the backend team. Dhruv also designed and developed a JSON adapter for Building Management Systems (BMS) using Java, which created a REST API outlet from a BMS Control System (Niagara) to the cloud using multi-threaded architectures and SOLID principles. In addition to his technical skills, Dhruv also has experience in sales and marketing, having worked as a Sales and Marketing Intern at beatselecta limited. He has presented his products to potential investors and customers at every key checkpoint and showcased his company's skill set for project acquisition. Dhruv holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University, where he is currently pursuing his degree. He also has a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from B.M.S. College of Engineering and completed his schooling in Maths and Science from Bishop Cotton Boys' School. Dhruv's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Python, Java, Machine Learning, Frontend, and Backend development.
