Dhruv Mongia is a software engineer at Google with a passion for automation and deep learning. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from Penn State University. With experience as a Full Stack Web Developer, Dhruv has worked on the development of various websites and apps. He believes that human effort should be focused on innovative and creative tasks, and automation will revolutionize the way we live our lives. Dhruv is a Web Development Intern at intelifai technologies, where he has developed REST APIs for multiple modules using NodeJS, made the frontend of an admin panel using AngularJS, and worked on building a chatbot based on RSVP using NodeRed. As the President of the International Organisation of Software Developers, Dhruv organized classes for juniors to teach them development skills such as web/app development, machine learning, competitive programming, and Photoshop. He also organized various coding competitions and the annual technical event of IOSD MAIT, which included a hackathon and various UI/UX designing and coding competitions. Dhruv has mentored students on live development projects. As a Research and Development Intern at the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Dhruv developed an event management portal that used a QR code-based system to hasten the process of marking attendance. He also developed the frontend for the official government website, www.mic.gov.in, to promote government innovative initiatives. Dhruv implemented the prototype for the Institute Innovation Council Portal to develop an entrepreneurship mentality in senior secondary schools. He also developed a news platform for intercommunication between different departments. Dhruv's education history includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from Penn State Harrisburg and a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology. He also completed high school at Father Agnel School. Dhruv's tech stack includes software engineering, web development, deep learning, JavaScript, UI, Elastic Search, NodeJS, Java, Kotlin, and Ember.js. With 2.69 years of relevant experience, Dhruv is a skilled and passionate software engineer with a focus on automation and deep learning.
